Functional Application Consultant

Job description:

• Works independently and sets priorities for his own work, as well as for the operational work of others
• The work involves a varied number of applications and usually takes place in a stable environment and can influence the results of one or more departments or disciplines within the assigned domain or business unit; see job description
• Investigates possibilities for improving processes, methods and existing systems and initiates improvement proposals
• Investigates and resolves problems of a complex nature, requiring an understanding of business processes
• Develops applications with many dependencies
• Accepts and processes change requests that have a major impact on the technical and functional operation of assigned applications
• The work takes place partly in a project context, there may be the management of a project team consisting of employees with the same skills

Skills:

• HBO working and thinking level obtained through ICT education or experience
• Knowledge of functional application management, methods and techniques
• Knowledge of work processes within the relevant domain
• Knowledge of market developments in the field
• Knowledge of setting up and implementing software packages
• Oral and written proficiency in the English language
• Experience working in a project context
• < 3 years of experience in ICT, preferably in functional
• Application management
