IT Engineering Specialist

Job description:

The IT Specialist Engineering position is located within Operations and Distributed Services. The IT Specialist Engineering is responsible for system engineering and 3rd line support.

Skills:

• Teamplayer
• Great skills and situational awareness in the knowledge transfer context
• Primarily focused on supporting the team with task execution in the Cloud context, instead of the execution itself
• Language skills:
• Excellent understanding of the English language, both verbally and in writing is a necessity
• Understanding of the French language is a preference
• Understanding of the Dutch language is a nice-to-have
• Cloud skills in AFKL context:
• Extensive knowledge of the ‘infra-as-code’ tools used, such as (GitHub, Terraform, Ansible, etc. and able to create/maintain/update scripts used
• Extensive knowledge of the Azure Cloud infrastructure
• Knowledge of the following Database Stores used in AFKL context is preferred (in order of preference)
• Oracle (IaaS), PostgreSQL (PaaS) SQL datastores
• MongoDB Atlas, CosmosDB and Redis NoSQL (PaaS) datastores
