About The Team
As a Senior Business analyst you will be working within the IT department and then specifically within the IT Change team. This is a small team which helps the business and our IT teams to translate the business wishes into IT solutions. In the process of coming to IT solutions, you will be investigating possibilities and realizing new or adaptations of existing systems/tooling/applications, by using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations. You will be working closely together with our product owners, epic owners, delivery lead and data team.
The Core Applications Team within EVBox is the heart of our IT domain. SAP, Salesforce and our Data Apps make up our Core Applications and our Business Analysts together with our Product Owners (POs) are the glue that hold them and departments together.
About The Role
As a Senior Business analyst you will be working within the IT department and then specifically within the IT CoreApps team.
Together with the PO’s, EPIC Owners, Solution Architects and other business stakeholders you bring EPICS to live. You will work on gathering business requirements to introduce new or improved business process or data reports. You will work together with the EPIC owner and business to draw the to be processes and gather all insights needed for the solution architects to make a design.
Areas Of Responsibility/core Tasks
- Be able to analyze and design (new) business processes or data(report) needs, solutions directions and implementation scenarios, which are needed to achieve the desired implement changes within the architecture established frameworks;
- Identify and define detailed product requirements and use cases;
- Create business canvas model;
- Performs information and impact analysis; assess the impact of prioritized changes on the IT related parts and records them;
- Mapping and analyzing business processes; describing information flows analyzing the information provision, formulating information needs;
- Mapping and analyzing data; describing information flows analyzing the information provision, formulating information needs;
- Stakeholder management; prepares and coordinates advice in the form of Solution Advice with relevant stakeholders such as product owners, business consultants, architects, application consultants, key users etc.;
- Contributing to a continuous improvement culture, mostly focusing on the Lean Portfolio Management processes.
Requirements
- SAP experience, either Supply chain, finance or manufacturing;
- Will work closely within Amsterdam team of PO’s and business analysts;
- Fluent in English is a must, French a pre and Dutch speaking not required;
- Will need to be result driven and even able to deliver results if business has hard time to become specific and/or has hard time thinking in processes;
- Deliverables will be level 3 processes and requirements for the project that will move the processes from a small legacy ERP/manufacturing system in Bordeaux to central SAP environment;
- Will be most valuable if can work well with KPMG and the model they bring but in the end makes sure EVBox business analysts can be self sufficient for future releases;
- Experience in working in a (scaled) agile of DevOps work environment;
- Knowledge of a portfolio process, agile way of working (SAFe);
- Familiar with systems like Salesforce, Power BI, Snowflake etc.;
- Experience with other functional areas e.g., testing, solution design etc. is a plus.
