Experience with automation through scripting (Powershell, Azure CLI)
Imagine working with highly skilled and professional colleagues that are lifting an on-premise landscape to the Azure Cloud, while maintaining a large on-premise Windows Server environment. There’s an added layer of complexity because you are working for one of the most regulated companies of the country. Your main focus will be on getting to know and maintaining our on-premise landscape.
We are seeking a person who has knowledge about Windows Server (on-premise), networking and can also focus on our main core product: the Quadient Inspire suite.
Day to day tasks could entail:
- Upgrading our Quadient Inspire software version.
- Functional management of Inspire, for example onboarding new users and/or departments with Rabobank’s IAM process
- Upgrading/Managing Windows Servers (or software on those Windows Servers)
- Updating certificates
- Life Cycle Management: e.g. Managing (newly found) vulnerabilities
Working together
Collaboration is key. At Rabobank we use Agile practices to organise our work. You will be working in an Agile team within a department (Area) in which multiple teams collaborate for create the best Customer Engagement experience possible. Together we make sure all messages the bank sends to customers are delivered in the right time and format. Sometimes this is an email, a pop-up in the app or a physical letter on the doormat of the customer.
The team you will be working in is responsible to manage a large portion of the technical landscape, as well as moving this platform to the Azure Cloud.
Your role
Rabobank has a Cloud First strategy, but large parts of the landscape still run in our own on-premise datacentres. You will be working on maintaining and improving our on-premise environment.
Your experience and competencies
- Windows 2016 – 2022 server;
- Networking on-premise;
- Basic SQL knowledge;
- Quadient Inspire suite (Scaler, flex) (pré);
- Incident/Problem management;
- Automation through scripting (Powershell, Azure CLI);
- Build and deploy with Azure DevOps Pipelines;
- Knowledge of Identity Access Management (IAM);
- Knowledge of Source Control (GIT/Azure Devops).
The competences we would like you to have:

- Knowledge and experience in Agile (Scrum/Kanban);
- Good communication skills (both in English and Dutch);
- Strong collaboration with other roles in the Scrum team;
