As a Business analyst with Power BI at ASML, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of data visualization and integration. You will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced data visualizations, reports, and dashboards using Power BI. Furthermore, your expertise in Power Apps will be crucial in seamlessly integrating forms into reports and creating front-end solutions to enhance the overall user experience.

Role and responsibilities

Power BI Development:

• Develop and maintain sophisticated Power BI reports and dashboards, translating intricate data into meaningful visual representations;
• Create data models, complex calculations, and custom visuals to support the organization's business objectives

Power Apps Integration:

• Seamlessly integrate Power Apps forms into Power BI reports, streamlining data entry and enhancing interactivity;
• Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for improving data integration and enhancing the user experience.

Front-End Development:

• Develop user-friendly front-end solutions using PowerApps to enhance user interactions and data consumption;
• Ensure the creation of responsive and intuitive interfaces.

Data Extraction and Transformation:

• Execute the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and consistency;
• Optimize data models and queries to enhance performance and efficiency.

Collaboration and Leadership:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions;
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

Documentation and Training:

• Document Power BI and Power Apps solutions, data models, and integration processes to maintain clarity and knowledge sharing.
• Conduct training sessions to empower users and fellow team members with the necessary skills.

Education and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
• Proven experience as a Senior Power BI Developer with a portfolio demonstrating complex Power BI projects;
• Proficiency in Power Apps development and integration, including form creation;
• Strong expertise in data modeling, DAX, and M query language;
• Front-end development experience with PowerApps or other relevant technologies;
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• Strong communication and leadership abilities;
• Microsoft Power BI Certification (preferred).
