Business Controller

Result areas:

• Translates tactical issues and operating result developments into concrete improvement actions to be implemented and monitors compliance with these
• Preparing and supporting management in the decision-making process
• Challenging line management
• Provides proactive insight and advice
• Identifies needs for reporting and analysis from the organization and ensures implementation
• Feeding Business Analysis with developments and information for the financial processes to be carried out by Business Analysis (forecast / budget / monthly closing / reporting, etc.)
• Ensures that the internal control measures have been drawn up (by the central AO/IC department) and are being complied with
• Is ultimately responsible for budget and forecasting of the relevant domain

Job requirements:

• Technological focus on solutions
• minimum HBO working and thinking level
• 3-5 years of work experience
• Experience with (business economic) analyses
• Experience with chain and process thinking
• Knowledge of financial accounting and systems
• Experience with internal control
• Value creator, this means:
• Drives change and continuous improvement
• Translates outside-in ideas into opportunities for KLM and converts this into action
• Is a business challenger, but also co-creator
• 'Connector': brings relevant parties together (pro-actively) to jointly achieve the optimal result for the whole
