Sascha is a real explorer
Meet Sascha Klomp, who now is a Cloud Developer at LINKIT. He made a career switch, from the social sector, because he noticed that he wanted to be more involved with IT. He finds it interesting to coach people, seeing what you can get out of someone. He thinks combining that with the more technical side is very interesting. Sascha sees himself as a real explorer because he is a very curious person. He always finds it very important to know everything and is also someone who doesn’t just say ‘yes’ to everything. He wants to find out first and wants to explore.
Sascha explains what he thinks about working at LINKIT: “One of the things that struck me was the culture. People are very social and it is actually immediately clear from the start that it is a company that cares about its people.That is something I think is very important. What is also very nice about LINKIT is that there are often activities being organized. These activities give you the chance to get to know a lot of colleagues who you wouldn’t normally be in a team with or would see very quickly. What I also like is that it is very clear and transparent how it is possible to grow in the company and personally. At LINKIT there is a mentor system, which means there is a constant focus on your personal growth.”

In his spare time Sascha likes to go bouldering: “I practice bouldering at bouldering hall Zuidhaven. It’s a kind of climbing. It’s something I like to do in my spare time. On the one hand you are sporty, but it doesn’t really feel that way. There is also a very large puzzle element in it. Well, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that I like puzzles as a software developer.”
