Data Engineer

Your role as Data Engineer:

As a Data Engineer, you are responsible for designing and building data systems, ensuring that you stay up-to-date with the latest technology to maintain datasets. Testing these datasets and collaborating with various stakeholders to translate organizational needs into datasets effectively readable and usable by Data Analysts & Data Scientists are also part of your expertise. Our Data Engineering & AI squad takes on this responsibility for our clients, working on crucial data engineering projects for organizations such as KLM & ASLM, as well as within large government organizations.

Your Squad:

LINKIT consists of more than 250 colleagues with diverse expertise deployed on exciting projects for great clients. Our Data Engineering & AI squad comprises 15 colleagues working with both government clients and large commercial companies, offering a wide range of assignments.

You:

  • Hold a completed HBO or WO education with a relevant focus such as informatics, computer science, data science, or other related fields working with databases.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a data engineer or in a similar role involving Big Data.
  • Have experience in designing and implementing Big Data technologies.
  • Design, build, and troubleshoot, as well as monitor ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Have knowledge in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, and preferably experience with Hadoop and Spark, Flink, or Snowflake.

Our recruitment process consists of 3 phases. The first is an introductory interview. Next is a technical assignment, followed by a final technical interview. The process generally takes 2 to 3 weeks, depending on your availability.
