IT has always been one of Laura’s passions
Meet explorer Laura, born in Portugal and now one of our OutSystems developers. She really thinks that her and LINKIT are a good match. She was trying to find a job with her background in biology. When Laura realised that she could not find a job, she started searching for her passions.
Laura explains: “IT has always been one of my passions. The spark in IT for me is that everything is always evolving. It’s a never-ending story. You can always continue searching and getting more knowledge and I always want to know more. I did some research and found out about OutSystems. I liked it because it’s a low-code platform and it’s accessible to anyone that wants to start working in IT. Before starting here there were a lot of things they told about the LINKIT culture really attracted me. Here at LINKIT we have this core value: knowledge sharing, and I really love that. I definitely had some expectations before coming here. And I think everything was above and beyond what I was expecting.”

“I have been a scout since I was six years old. So, I am 28, you do the math. It’s something that you are it’s not something that you do. So, being a scout makes me an explorer. I’m also exploring the Dutch language. I can say: Ik ben Laura, ik kom uit Portugal. Ik ben 28 jaar.”
