Karsten enjoys passing on knowledge to colleagues
Meet explorer Karsten. He is a Mendix Developer at LINKIT. Before he came here, he had no experience with Mendix. He did have experience in front-end development as well as design. When he came into contact with Mendix, it was the perfect combination of business, IT and still a bit of design. Karsten found the traineeship tough, but a lot of fun. The boot camp was very intensive, but he quickly got through the basics of Mendix and then immediately started working for a client.
Karsten: “It’s actually a bit of a big puzzle for me. You puzzle all day long. Looking for solutions, identifying problems. What attracted me to LINKIT is that it is a very transparent organization. I actually had the feeling from the first day that I was really very welcome here. That I was also accepted and that everyone is at the same level, has the same vibe. Since I got in here I don’t want to leave. I think it’s because of the atmosphere here. I think that if a Brabander like me comes here, he will quickly find his place. What makes me an explorer is that I am always busy coming up with new ideas and I am very eager to learn. I always try to learn new things. I especially enjoy passing on that knowledge to colleagues.”
