Mendix Support Engineer

As a Support Engineer, you are responsible for the operational side of our clients' applications. This means that you are the 'go-to person' for all issues that arise in our applications. You are accessible, reachable, and prefer keeping communication lines short. You don't shy away from a challenge and involve the team as needed to ensure a fast, high-quality, and security-compliant working environment for the client. Daily tasks will include monitoring the application logs of our clients, handling change requests from customers, and improving our internal support processes.

• Proactively monitoring customer environments and promptly identifying and resolving issues.
• Consistently facilitating internal support process improvements.

• Troubleshooting issues.
• Facilitating ongoing performance and architecture improvements.
• Prioritizing and ensuring that customer applications are security compliant with the latest updates and patches.
• Collaborating with our team to keep our platform running at all times.
• Providing necessary and high-quality support and services to our customers.
• Coaching and inspiring less experienced developers within the squad.
• Implementing necessary platform upgrades, server configurations, and license management to maintain all licenses.
• Analyzing our platform environments and providing recommendations and advice on performance, architecture, and security—an ongoing process.
• Being a proactive member of the community.

Must-Haves & Nice-to-Haves:

• Completed HBO or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Minimum achieved certification: Advanced Developer.
• Extensive experience with System Integration, Architecture & Data Modeling.
• Hands-on practical knowledge of the entire Mendix Platform.
• Experience with Software Operations & Maintenance.
• Experience with Agile work methodologies.
• Experience with Java or JavaScript is a plus.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Analytical, strong problem-solving skills, and a flexible mindset.
• Customer-oriented and result-driven.
