Agile carnival

Organised together with Agile Holland at the LINKIT office, this second meetup took place on the 21st of February.
"Why Still Work With PRINCE2? "PRINCE2 is dead! Long live Agile!":

Andrew Baker:
It is true that companies must have better agility in responding to customer needs, either internal or external. But what's the truth behind the so-called "death" of PRINCE2? Is it a thing of the past and from now on should project and change initiatives only ever follow an Agile approach?

This session will help to answer those questions and more as we look at the history of these methodologies, look at best-practise examples of both and decide as a group the actual answer to whether projects should still work according to PRINCE2 or not.
"Trust()in(g) Teams":

Marjan Venema started in software way back when, when Cobol was still hip. She has worked on all aspects of software development at many companies. Besides software development she is keenly interested in psychology, cognition and influencing behavior. She is now working towards breaking into agile coaching.

She will discuss "Trust( )in(g) Teams":Ever worked in a team where people seemed to play ball, but you could feel undercurrents pointing in the opposite direction? Lack of trust between team members or between the team and “the outside” is corrosive to motivation and detrimental to team-moral and productivity. Learn to recognize the symptoms of trust issues and get a handle on how to start addressing them. Even if you are “just a grunt”.
