ROLE DESCRIPTION
ASML's EF ENG (EUV Factory Engineering) department sets the pace for industrialization and continuous improvement within one of the most advanced high-tech manufacturing environments in the world. As a Data Analyst, you become the go-to data partner for the Production Engineering (PE) teams, translating complex manufacturing and engineering questions into structural, data-driven solutions. You operate at the heart of a full-scale ERP migration to SAP, an environment that introduces continuous challenges around data mapping, data quality, and legacy system integration.
Your work directly enables engineering and factory strategies by transforming raw transactional data into clean, actionable business intelligence. You design and build advanced dashboards that give Production Engineers the insights they need to steer Cycle Time, quality, and cost. You collaborate closely with data engineers, First Line Support, and factory stakeholders across a fluent English-speaking, multidisciplinary engineering organization, ensuring that every cross-functional data stream comes together into one reliable source of truth for the shopfloor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the primary data partner for Production Engineering teams, translating manufacturing and engineering questions into structural data solutions.
- Dive independently into SAP ERP and SAP HANA architectures to map, extract, and clean raw data fields during the migration transition.
- Design, build, and maintain advanced interactive dashboards in Microsoft Power BI to visualize engineering and production KPIs.
- Develop and maintain high-end reporting solutions in TIBCO Spotfire to support continuous performance improvement.
- Write complex SQL queries to blend and reconcile datasets from multiple legacy systems and the new SAP environment.
- Automate data cleaning and validation pipelines using Python or R to improve data quality and reduce manual effort.
- Build data models that enable tracking of Cycle Time (CT) reduction across factory milestones.
- Set up monitoring and reporting for disturbance recurrence (DN/MN logs) to support structural root-cause analysis.
- Develop dashboards that track First-Time-Right (FPY) execution and procedure quality.
- Collaborate with data engineers to align data architecture and integration across cross-functional data streams.
- Partner with First Line Support (FLS) and factory stakeholders to validate data accuracy and resolve data quality issues.
- Identify structural improvement opportunities in data flows and reporting processes to increase efficiency on the shopfloor.
- Translate ambiguous or incomplete legacy data structures into clear, actionable data models during the SAP migration.
- Communicate findings, dashboards, and data insights clearly to Production Engineers and factory stakeholders in English.
