Power Platform Engineer

ROLE

As Power Platform Engineer you join the BPM & AI team and help design, build and industrialize AI-enabled business solutions across the organization. This is a hands-on engineering role, not a configuration role. You build production-grade solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Copilot Studio, and you make them work reliably inside a complex enterprise landscape.

You engineer Copilot Studio agents end to end, from topics and actions to tools, connectors and orchestration, and you integrate them with APIs, Dataverse, Microsoft 365 and Azure services. Alongside that you build the reusable components, connectors and automation patterns that allow the wider organization to scale its use of the platform.

You work closely with business architects, solution architects, process analysts and AI engineers, translating business and process requirements into scalable technical solutions. You own your work across development, test and production environments, and you make sure everything you deliver meets enterprise architecture, security and governance standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and build solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate and Copilot Studio
• Engineer Copilot Studio agents, including topics, actions, tools, connectors and orchestration
• Integrate agents and applications with enterprise systems through APIs and custom connectors
• Connect solutions to Dataverse, Microsoft 365, Azure services and other enterprise platforms
• Build reusable components, connectors and automation patterns for use across the organization
• Implement authentication, authorization, security and environment configuration
• Set up and support ALM across development, test and production environments
• Support testing, deployment and monitoring of solutions in production
• Translate business and process requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Work closely with business architects, solution architects, process analysts and AI engineers
• Troubleshoot complex integration, automation and agent behaviour issues
• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture, security and governance standards
• Debug and improve agent behaviour based on real usage in production environments
• Contribute to engineering standards and best practices within the BPM & AI team

REQUIREMENTS

Must-haves

• Strong hands-on engineering experience with the Microsoft Power Platform
• Demonstrable experience building production-grade solutions, not demos or proofs of concept
• In-depth experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, including agents, topics, actions and tools
• Solid experience with Power Automate for enterprise-grade automation
• Solid experience with Power Apps for business-critical applications
• Experience designing and consuming APIs and building custom connectors
• Experience with Dataverse as a data and integration layer
• Experience integrating with Microsoft 365 and Azure services
• Working knowledge of authentication, authorization and security configuration
• Experience with ALM, environment strategy, deployment and monitoring
• Ability to independently build, integrate, debug and deploy solutions
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a large, complex enterprise or high-tech environment
• Background in enterprise software engineering practices such as version control, CI/CD and automated testing
• Experience working alongside AI engineers on AI-enabled business solutions
• Experience with business process management and process analysis
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture and governance frameworks
• Relevant Microsoft certifications, as an addition to proven hands-on experience
