Introduction to the Job
As a Business Intelligence Analyst you develop data models and support the generation of business insights by using a combination of cross-sector data sources and applying leading analytics tools and technologies to enable value creation for ASML and its customers. You become part of the EF Business Intelligence & Analytics team, part of the EUV Factory's Operational Excellence – Business Engineering department. The Business Engineers support the EUV Factory staff by delivering data insights and advice to realize the factory targets.
Role and Responsibilities
You are responsible for reporting and analytics, for both ad hoc questions coming from factory users and for improving existing regular reporting and analytics, with most reports developed in Spotfire. You perform analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data, and you need to understand business questions and challenges and translate them into reporting and analytics requirements. You filter data and review reports and performance indicators to identify and correct code problems, and you are part of an agile team using the scrum methodology.
Requirements
Must-haves
- Master's degree in Information Management, Business Management, Economics, Econometrics, Data Science, Computer Science & Engineering, Mathematics & Computer Science, Robotics & Applied Mathematics, or equivalent
- 1-5 years of relevant experience in data analytics
- Strong understanding of data platforms, analytical methods, and data visualization techniques
- Proven experience with Spotfire (mandatory)
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with PowerBI
- Experience with modern data technologies and platforms, such as Mendix, Databricks, SAP HANA, and/or Python
- Experience working within a complex, international, and multidisciplinary environment
