As an experienced Modern Workplace Engineer within the IT Workplace Services domain, you will work in a scrum team of enthusiastic and driven professionals, where you are responsible for managing and maintaining more than 2,600 workplaces worldwide.
In this role, you will work in the Workplace Platform team, together with a young and diverse group of IT specialists who are passionate about technology and are all focused on delivering the most optimal workplace to our end users worldwide. By being a self-starter and proactive expert, you analyze and independently resolve third-line disruptions or issues in the various Active Directory domains within established service levels. This involves a wide range of queries from end-users regarding both the current Windows 10 environment and the new Windows 11 setup. You will have the opportunity to make an impact approximately 2,600 times!
You also have the following responsibilities:
- (Further) automating frequently occurring tasks;
- Implementing the monthly security patches on workstations and actively following up on them;
- Packaging applications (optionally);
- Providing support to other IT departments;
- Performing lifecycle management;
Contributing to and further executing the transition to the Modern Workplace.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience with the configuration and maintaining of the following: Windows 10/11, SCCM and Intune,
- Vmware Horizon View (Omnissa) is a plus;
- Knowledge of TopDesk is a plus;
- Extensive experience with PowerShell scripting;
- Knowledge of Endpoint security management (Defender, Qualys) is a plus;
- Knowledge of modern management tools such as Azure Portal;
Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
