Business Analyst – LHC

A business analyst (with BPMN experience) working on the new cargo terminal project is responsible for further detailing the operational concept.

A business analyst working on the new cargo terminal project is responsible for further detailing the operational concept. Either being part of the process installation development, POC Program, and/or detailing and translation to cargo handling processes/manual/policies incl. impact assessment and business requirements. Focusing on the alignment of processes and hardware, to optimize the logistical flow of shipments through the new cargo terminal.

 

This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs, analyzing business processes, and ensuring the alignment of project objectives with strategic goals.

 

The business analyst plays a critical role in bridging the gap between operations and technology, facilitating effective communication, and driving the successful implementation of the project.

BA tasks:

  • Requirements gathering
  • Process analysis and management, focusing on detailing the operational concept and its north star processes
  • Stakeholder management
  • Solution design, focused on the Logistic (Material) Handling Systems
  • Documentation
  • Projectmanagement support
  • Testing and validation
  • Data analysis

Required result/output

Process management

  • Detailed North Star BPMN Processes (level 3-5)
  • Cargo-a-la-carte detailing and translation to cargo handling processes/manual/policies incl. impact assessment and business requirements

POC Program

  • Distinction between:

Process Installations

  • Process alignment with the Logistic Handling System suppliers and POC Program stakeholders

Digital Twin

  • Determine LHC requirements for a digital twin, input/relation on simulation tool for business process analysis

Assumptions required by the simulation track from an LHC perspective

  • A completed bachelor's or master's degree, or an equivalent qualification based on work experience, preferably with a background in logistics or systems engineering.
  • At least 2 years of experience in process optimization, project management, or a similar role.
