With a strong focus on operational excellence and innovation, you will cooperate with various product teams at Transavia, external partners and contractors to deliver the best product.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Vision and Strategy: Define and communicate the vision and strategy for the shared platforms, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and user needs.
- Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, focusing on features that deliver the most value to users and the business.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT, business units, and end-users, to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure their needs are met.
- User Story Development: Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to guide the development team in implementing features and improvements.
- Sprint Planning and Review: Participate in sprint planning sessions to ensure the team understands the priorities and goals, and in sprint reviews to provide feedback and make necessary adjustments.
- Adoption and Training: Develop and oversee campaigns and training programs to drive the adoption of Microsoft 365 services across the organization
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors providing technical support, solution design, and delivery services
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance and usage of Microsoft 365 services, using analytics to identify areas for improvement and ensure optimal performance
- Security and Compliance: Ensure that the shared platforms adhere to security and compliance standards, working closely with security teams to address any issues
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new technologies to continuously improve the shared platforms.
- Coaching of aspiring Product Owner: One of the team members wants to become Product Owner but will need training and coaching to grow into this role.
Skills and Competencies
- Product Management Expertise: Proven experience in managing and delivering complex software products, preferably within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, SharePoint, Intune).
- Strategic Vision: Ability to define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with organizational goals and user needs.
- Backlog Management: Strong skills in creating, prioritizing, and maintaining a product backlog, ensuring the team focuses on high-value features.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with various stakeholders, gather requirements, and provide regular updates.
- User Story Development: Proficiency in writing detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to guide the development team.
- Agile Methodologies: Deep understanding of Agile principles and practices, with experience in leading Agile teams through sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze performance data and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
- Security and Compliance Awareness: Knowledge of security and compliance standards relevant to Microsoft 365 services, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Experience in coaching and mentoring team members, with a specific focus on training an aspiring Product Owner to grow into the role. This includes providing guidance, sharing best practices, and offering constructive feedback to help them develop the necessary skills and competencies.
- Good oral expression in both Dutch and English.
- Minimum of 5 years as product owner, preferably in Microsoft products
