ASML is looking for a Requirements Engineer
Key responsibilities
- Detailing out the high level requirements by aligning the business process to the requirements. the current requirements are very high-level and not always relevant anymore or capturing the latest (Customer Support) needs
- Maintaining the high level design document (e.g. processing new requests, updating design with Jira asks, labelling of requirement towards ML, etc.)
- and the traceability between requirements and business objectives.
- Support intake of new (business) demand by helping to captured in detail the business request and its acceptance criteria (eg landingzone for OEM engineer schedules, more robust and secure equipment registration). This will significantly improve the intake and quality of our requests also towards our supplier
- Next, provide detailed input for Refinements with our supplier on existing Jira tickets. Connect with stakeholders and align with review team
- Assist in prioritizing requirements based on business needs and technical feasibility.
- Support in validation of suppliers Business Solution Designs for all the separate Jira’s in refinement. Currently our review activities outside refinement calls are limited and therefor interpretation of a concept vs implementation is sometimes not matching.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Requirements Engineer, Business Analyst, or in a similar role within IT projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in requirement-gathering techniques, such as interviews, workshops, and surveys.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Experience with requirement management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
