Data Product Creation team at ASML
For the Data Product Creation team at ASML we are looking for data reliability engineers. The team focus on the development of our data product creation frameworks and mostly works with: Databricks, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Spark and Python.
As a data reliability engineer you are responsible for managing, optimizing and automating our cloud-based infra, data pipelines, applications and services.
Key responsibilities are:
- Fostering a culture of eliminating toil and implementing optimal observability and monitoring;
- Detect & Repair: Observability, Incident Response and Postmortems;
- Data quality and reporting reliability-related metrics (e.g., Service Level Indicators and Service Level Objectives): ensuring if ASML's data and production systems are highly reliable, available, efficient, secure, and scalable;
- Disaster recovery and redundancy: Ensuring our assets are safeguarded against unforeseen events;
- Optimization: Identify areas for improvement (e.g. cost optimization, deployment processes) and providing technical hands-on assistance;
- Automation: Repetitive manual tasks should be automated where possible;
- Documentation: All parts of our data landscape, including architecture, processes and changes are well-documented to ensure knowledge is not lost;
- Collaboration: Collaborate with a variety of people and ART's to ensure everyone is aligned on data-related topics;
- Curious by nature.
