IT Project Manager

Within Robeco you will work as a IT Project Manager within the Technology – Marketing & Distribution Services department. The challenges for companies in the financial sector are greater than ever. Under increasingly strict supervision, legislation and at a time of increasing demand for digitization and transparency, we work with users on innovative automation and processes to provide the very best experience for our customers throughout the entire client lifecycle. The team consists of 18 IT professionals who have successfully delivered high value solutions over the last few years. The team has adopted Agile/DevOps, designs and delivers solutions based on a microservices architecture, and applies the latest technology available like Azure cloud services. The ambition is to further build and expand our capabilities in the marketing, sales and client service domains, and to ensure the team remains the go-to reliable partner for delivering high value solutions.

Position & Requirements

As a project manager within Technology–Marketing & Distribution Services, you are responsible for managing complex IT projects in the Sales, Marketing, and Services domain. With our solutions, we support the Client Lifecycle of Robeco's customers. Some examples of the solutions we provide are CRM – Dynamics, Robeco.com (corporate Website), Sales enablement, and the Customer Data platform. The projects have a strong relationship with these solutions.

As a project manager within Robeco, you are expected to have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, IT, or equivalent, with a minimum of 8 years of working experience, including at least 4 years of experience as an IT project manager, preferably with a consulting background. You should be hands-on, proactive, result-driven, and a strong team player.

Primary Tasks

  • Manage independently multiple (2-3 max) IT projects in parallel, driving them through execution, from analysis to implementation;
  • Collaborate with cross-domain project teams and manage (senior) stakeholders ranging from management, product owners, enterprise architects, business representatives, IT;
  • Report on progress and budget, manage exceptions;
  • Perform consulting & business analysis activities when necessary / support the project Business Analyst.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor+ education, preferably in Business/IT related studies;
  • At least 4 years of project management experience and proven track record in managing complex IT projects;
  • Scrum/Agile/DevOps working + methodologies;
  • Experience with business analysis techniques and related frameworks;
  • High level of independence, ownership and stakeholder management skills;
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with team members, stakeholders and (senior) management;
  • Highly organized, pragmatic, pro-active and result driven;
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken) and preferably Dutch;
  • Experience or affinity with Asset Management/Financial Services industry is preferred;
  • Willing to work on site at Robeco at least 3 days per week
  • IT Consulting background is preferred.
