Business Analyst

Medior Business Analyst

As a Business (Product) Analyst (BPA), you will play a pivotal role in maximizing the value potential of our products by ensuring alignment with user requirements, driving user adoption, and facilitating business process change. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to envision and iterate on future business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring seamless integration with our digital products.

In the Business Platforms division, we take ownership of digitally supporting a range of business processes through our suite of digital products. Reporting to the Business Product Analysis Leader, you will work within product teams to drive innovation and deliver tangible business impact.

  • Business Process Change:
    • Understand and document current business processes within CrewHorizon's project scope.
    • Identify inefficiencies and propose solutions through the implementation of new products or features.
    • Collaborate with users to design and iterate on future business processes, ensuring stakeholder buy-in and adoption.
  • User Requirements Gathering, Specification, and Prioritization:
    • Uncover and prioritize user requirements, considering relevant regulations and standards.
    • Translate user needs into clearly defined features and support technical teams in implementation decisions.
    • Conduct User Acceptance Testing and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Product Analysis:
    • Analyze product impact using predefined KPIs and business metrics.
    • Regularly test products from a user perspective to identify and address issues.
    • Support the product team in functional design, data modeling, and roadmap development.
  • User Adoption:
    • Drive user adoption by addressing underlying user dissatisfaction and proposing feature enhancements.
    • Organize workshops and training sessions to promote product understanding and usage.
  • Support:
    • Ensure continuity of deployed products in accordance with service level agreements.
    • Participate in incident management processes to resolve issues promptly.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Proven experience in business process optimization, product analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate user needs into actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and data management principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Language: Dutch is required.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Sparx enterprise architect
  • IT knowledge; API's, interface layers.
