Job Overview:
The Seismic Implementation Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining seismic data processing and analysis. This role requires strong technical skills in seismic data processing, software configuration, troubleshooting, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal team/ clients to understand their seismic data processing requirements and objectives.
- Design and configure seismic data processing workflows tailored to the specific needs of each client.
- Implement, customize, and optimize seismic processing software and tools to achieve accurate and efficient data analysis.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to seismic data processing, software functionality, and data quality.
- Provide technical support to clients, offering solutions and guidance to address their challenges.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in seismic processing techniques, software, and industry trends.
- Document implementation processes, solutions, and best practices for internal and client reference.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT/ Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of seismic data acquisition, processing, and analysis techniques.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, MATLAB, etc.) for automating tasks and data analysis.
- Knowledge of various seismic data formats and industry standards.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel to Robeco – Rotterdam office.
Preferred:
- Experience working with cloud-based seismic data processing solutions.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques applied to seismic data analysis.
- Certifications related to seismic data processing and software platforms.
