Demonstrated experience in service design, with strong skills in user research and UX strategy
Job description:
The strategic design team has initiated a 2-year program to increase service design knowledge & skills in the Digital department. Therefore the team needs support of an experienced service designer, having specific knowledge of building complex multi-channel blueprints, future visions for multiple product teams and multi-departmental stakeholder management. This is a specialist competence that is limited at the company. This service designer will support the other 3 service designers in the team and work on complex projects.
In 2023, the service designer will work on:
- Creating blueprints and future visions for an orchestrated, personalized multi-channel experience
- Supporting the digital department and service designers with co-creating product visions in a systematic and strategically sound way
- Pro-actively growing the knowledge base of the other service designers, product designers and writers on design and user research methods, as well as facilitation skills
- Support in maturing the strategic design team through the creation of UX goals and priority setting
- Performing user research, facilitating workshops and running tracks with a design thinking
Responsibilities:
- User research
- Blueprinting and analysis

- Fluent in using tools like Miro
- Hosting workshops, both face to face and online
Profile:
- Demonstrated experience in service design, with strong skills in user research and UX strategy
- Track record in delivering blueprints and future visions for complex multi-channel experiences
- Strong in facilitating multi-departmental stakeholder (co-creation) sessions
- Knowledge on a wide variety of design methods and tools
- Experience in working with agile/scrum teams
- Strong communicator
- Open to feedback
- Sharing knowledge/experience to mature the strategic design team
