LINKIT Privacy Statement
The following Privacy Statement applies to the websites of LINKIT (hereafter also referred to as “we” or “us”). We attach great importance to protecting the privacy of our candidates and employees and other visitors of our website(s), and to transparency in this respect. This Privacy Statement describes how we, as the controller, gather, share, use and/or otherwise process data which relates to you or identifies you (hereafter “personal data”), all this in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (Wet bescherming persoonsgegevens) and the Telecommunications Act (Telecommunicatiewet). This Privacy Statement does not apply to third-party websites or services.
In general, our website can be visited without your personal data being disclosed to us. Just like many other websites, however, our website does automatically gather particular non-identifiable information about the users of the website, such as the Internet Protocol (IP) address of your computer. This technical information enables the systems administrator to administer the website and helps us to improve the website even further.
We ask for personal data so that we can get in touch with you or respond to a job application. This involves data such as name and address details, telephone number, email address, gender, date of birth and Curriculum Vitae. The data which LINKIT gathers in the context of such (online) application procedures is used for the purpose of replying to your request, assessing your application or presenting you with offers or information about LINKIT’s services and other activities.
We will store your information for up to two years after receiving it, or two years after your last day of service through LINKIT. It is possible to request removal at any time. Four weeks before your information has been removed from our database, we will notify you personally. At this time, we will also offer the option to extend the storage period, so that LINKIT may continue to provide their services.
Personal data which we share with third parties
LINKIT may share your personal data with the following parties:
- Companies which are part of the same business group, such as subsidiaries
- Clients with which we conclude an agreement in the context of an employee or staff recruitment relationship. These third parties must process your personal data in accordance with our instructions and in conformity with the requirements of the Personal Data Protection Act
- Bodies or parties to which particular personal data must be disclosed pursuant a statutory provision, or to which we must disclose your personal data in order to protect the rights, property or safety of LINKIT or others
- Carefully selected third parties which we engage in some cases for the provision of our services (‘processors’). Such processors may process your personal data in that context. Through processor’s agreements, LINKIT has made arrangements with these processors about the use and protection of your personal data.
Except in the cases listed above, we do not provide personal data to third parties.
Inspecting and/or changing data
If you wish to inspect, change, supplement or remove your personal data, you can email LINKIT a request to this effect via firstname.lastname@example.org. Having received your request, we will respond within the statutory period of four weeks. In the event of an inspection request, we reserve the right to charge a fee not exceeding the statutory costs per request.
Contact – questions or complaints
If you have any questions, comments or complaints about the processing and/or protection of your personal data by LINKIT, you can contact us by post or email via email@example.com or LINKIT B.V., for the attention of the Privacy Officer, PO Box 13130, 3507 LC Utrecht.
This Privacy Statement and all disputes arising from or relating to this Privacy Statement are governed by Dutch law.
