LINKIT expands Low-code portfolio and launches Mendix squad

Low-code platforms make it possible to develop applications on an enterprise scale in a fraction of the time compared to traditional development methods. LINKIT, one of the major low-code players in the Netherlands and Germany for more than five years, now helps its customers to design, develop and manage Mendix solutions in addition to the OutSystems services it already provided.

The addition of Mendix to LINKIT’s portfolio is a logical choice. “One size fits all is not what we believe in,” says Daan de Groof (CEO IT & Innovation at LINKIT). “Every customer and challenges are unique and sometimes require different solutions and tools. We would like to understand the challenge and always look at this from a business, but also technical perspective, in which we find honest and independent advice important.”

LINKIT has supported large organizations such as Ahold, Intratuin and Aegon for years by building innovative IT solutions through Low-code. Combining design thinking and agile software development, we can offer a toolbox to make any project a success, regardless of technology. Daan de Groof: “How wonderful is it, that we can help our customers with the platforms that, according to Gartner’s ‘Magic Quadrant’, are leading platforms in low-code solutions? It is fantastic to see organizations’ enormous impact by adopting these powerful low-code platforms. In addition, we have the knowledge and skills in-house to unburden clients and their projects completely.”

LINKIT strongly believes in the autonomy of its customers. Therefore, if they wish, customers can carry out maintenance themselves and make minor improvements to the applications. LINKIT can, of course, support this with targeted training and knowledge sessions.

Bob van Heijster, appointed by Mendix as MVP (expert, leader and evangelist in the Mendix field), joined LINKIT to set up and lead a team of Mendix specialists. In the meantime, the first customer projects have been successfully completed. LINKIT is currently helping one of its customers to get started with Mendix: “We are now going to set up a Mendix platform with them in which we will build 14 applications. We are looking forward to that!”
